Welcome to Mayo Dash! I'm Mayo and this is my art channel. I am very comfortable in the lawless world of abstract art so that is my main focus. I've used dashed lines to doodle simple patterns on the edges of my papers for several years, I've found these to be fun as well as therapeutic and I've decided 2022 is the year to share this odd style of drawing with you. As a starting point for this channel, I am creating patterns on white paper and have been exploring using felt tip pens to colour backgrounds before sketching. To progress further, I will be taking inspiration from the zentangle and neurographic art I've seen on YouTube. I'm also a longtime fan of Kandinsky's Composition VIII so some of my designs will certainly incorporate his style. The aim is to find a place for my drawings within the art community.
