In this video, we highlight the 10 best things to do in Milos Greece. Milos is volcanic Greek island in the Aegean Sea, just north of the Sea of Crete. It has some of the most beautiful beaches and cute little towns. These are the 10 best things to do in Milos: 10. The 10th best thing to do in Milos, Greece is visit Paliochori Beach. Located about 20 minutes from the city center of Adamas, it’s easily accessible by any vehicle. This beach is really colorful with red, yellow, white, and brown rocks surrounding it. 9. Papafragas is a must-see when visiting Milos, Greece. It is one of the most unusual rock formations you will see in your life and the water color is a stunning bright green. There are also many caves in and around the water to explore. 8. At number 8, we recommend visiting the small fishing town of Klima. Here, you can walk around the bay and take in the sights of the colorful houses lining the shore. 7. Sarakiniko beach is a natural wonder. It is made up of greyish-white volcanic rock that’s been carved into strange shapes by the wind and waves. 6. Coming in at number 6, we have the traditional small town of Trypiti. This little village is located just a few minutes from the town of Plaka and has many small streets with tons of character. The view over the ocean is stunning and they have some of the tastiest food on the entire island. 5. Firiplaka Beach blew us away with its colorful waters and jagged rocks. Nestled in a perfect half-moon cove, the beach is exactly what you imagine when dreaming of visiting a classic Greek beach. 4. The 4th best thing to do in Milos, Greece is to visit the ancient theatre. It is situated between the towns of Trypiti and Klima and is incredibly well preserved. Visitors are allowed to sit on the steps, walk around, and even explore the stage floor. 3. Firopotamos is a true hidden gem in Milos, Greece. Located below the town of Plaka, it is less touristy than many of the other popular beaches on the island. Along the beach, you will find a few fishermen houses, rentals, a beautiful church, and even ancient ruins. 2. Plaka is one of the best places to visit in Milos. The cobblestone paths, tight alleys, and colorful blue and white buildings make it one of the coziest towns we’ve ever visited throughout our travels. 1. Scenic drive in Milos, Greece! Starting our trip in the lovely small port of Pollonia, we will head towards Adamas, Milo's main town and port. From there our next destination will be the remote location of Tsigrado, a rewarding viewpoint and a hard to access beach. Milos is such a fun island to visit! The beaches and the landscapes are unreal! Sarakiniko Beach was definitely our favorite beach due to its lunar landscape. We had so much fun exploring the different beaches and continuing to eat Greek foods. We visited Milos in late April which meant the crowds were minimal. It was such a nice experience to have the island be so empty. While we didn't have the best weather, we did try to make the best of it!
