Bali, Indonesia, with some of the best things to do near Ubud. We tried the famous kopi Luwak (coffee Luwak, the one made out of the civet's poo). What does it taste like? That's what you'll discover in this Bali tour video. But we can already assure all types of Indonesian coffee are worth a try 😉. This vlog starts in a beautiful waterfall in Bali called Tukad Cepung, almost hidden inside a cove. Then, on our way to Ubud (Central Bali), we stop at Santi to learn about Kopi Luwak, and finally continue until the most famous rice terrace in Indonesia: Tegallalang rice terrace. That's the second part of our day trip in Bali, wonderful Indonesia. Bali Pass - Ruinsara Tal Trek There aren’t many treks that let one experience the raw grandeur of a Himalayan pass crossing. Connecting Har Ki Dun valley with Yamunotri, the Bali Pass Trek is an exhilarating trail. It traverses the confluence of Tons and Ruinsara rivers, the undisturbed serenity of the Ruinsara Valley and the lush meadows of Devsu Thach. Soon, greenery paves way for an alpine zone. At 16,207 ft, the Bali Pass offers a 360 degree panoramic view of the Bandarpoonch, Kalanag and Swargarohini peaks. This reward doesn’t come easy, as this trek is a difficult one, not suitable for beginners. 5 Highlights On The Bali Pass - Ruinsara Tal Trek 1. The ancient villages of Osla and Gangad take you back in time. On day one, the ancient villages of Gangad and Osla strike a chord with unique village cultures and folklore. The ancient temples at Osla have riveting Himachali architecture that can keep you absorbed for a long time. 2.The alpine meadows of Devsu Thach in middle of the Ruinsara Forest are a grand surprise of the trek. The setting of Dev Thach is picture perfect. A lush meadow surrounded by tall trees with Swargarohini and Kalanag looming in the background makes for a perfect setting. It makes for a very tempting spot to camp. 3.The trail from Devsu Thach to Ruinsara Lake, meandering next to the Ruinsara River This is a beautiful and tricky stretch. The valley is narrow and one can be excused for comparing it with Rishi Gorge from Nanda Devi Sanctuary, although it isn’t as difficult as the latter. The array of alpine flowers across the river bank is astonishing. 4. The Ruinsara Lake is a special glacial lake Resting amidst beautiful mountain ranges of Swaragrohini, the lake is serene and calming. The meadows around are neat and untouched. One can experience a sense of tranquility all around the lakeside. 5. The challenging approach to Bali Pass In the month of June and July, the higher regions of the pass are covered in snow. Trekkers who enjoy high altitude pass traverses will find themselves totally at home. The pass crossing day is long over never-ending snow dunes and ridges to cross. Adventurer Mich Kemeter challenged himself to complete four extreme disciplines from sunrise to sunset in Gorges du Verdon (the Verdon Gorge), France. The deepest gorge in France, Gorges du Verdon, is one of the must-see natural wonders of central Provence. It is an easy day trip from the French Riviera, however, we recommend staying in the area for a couple of days because it has so much to offer. The opportunities for adventure are endless. There are over 1500 incredible routes for rock climbers. For the very experienced, like Mich Kemeter, you may choose to go base jumping from the high altitudes of the mountain tops. For a more relaxed time, kayaking or boating into the lower part of the gorge is a very popular activity. Or hike to explore Gorges du Verdon and take photos. A wonderful afternoon walking the Pefki Gorge with Ciara and our four dogs. The Pefki Gorge is one of the smallest on the island, but it is absolutely beautiful and you can extend the hike by either going up above the village of Pefki to the church, all the way down to the coast or both!

It was used some hundred plus years ago to access villages, which are located high up in the Tyrolean mountains. On the way you, there is a platform and a ruin, which was used to generate electricity in the last century. The glass skywalk hangs 1,180 meters above a valley and stretches 266 meters in length. Just for fun, shattering glass is added as a special effect to give the already-terrifying experience extra zing. My hike in the Samariá Gorge on the island of Crete, Greece. FWIW.... This is how I hiked the gorge: I booked a tour bus through my hotel in Chania..... I was picked up at 6AM. We stopped at a Taverna right before the gorge for food and a rest stop. We were the first bus to arrive when the trail opened. The tour provided tickets for the gorge and ferry. They also rented walking sticks.... I actually was the first person to enter the gorge that day. There was a guide with us, but he entered the gorge last to make sure everyone on our bus made it ok. After I entered the gorge I did not see him again until the taverna in Agia Roumeli. After the hike I went for a swim, had a beer or two and some lunch. It wasn't like we walked the gorge as a group and I was back in Chania by 20:00. As a bonus I got to meet some great people from all over the world! I went in early June and it wasn't very crowed. I will soon be traveling again with better video equipment and more experience I created my channel to share my travels with family and friends and to relive great memories

We had made our way up to Cape Tribulation and were scouting locations to shoot with our guide.
